In all seasons, the small town of Wiltz, which has 7000 inhabitants, offers leisure, cultural and sports activities, festivals and folklore events.

Pentecost - "Fête du Genêt" : The celebration of the broom, the emblematic shrub of the Oesling, is one of the most renowned folklore events in the entire region. Flower parades, floats decorated with the broom flower, Luxembourg and foreign music societies, majorettes battalions, folklore groups, and international show-bands parade through the streets of the town of Wiltz and attract thousands of visitors every year: www.geenzefest.lu.

July - The Wiltz Festival : The festival in the prestigious setting of the gardens of the Château de Wiltz offers concerts, theatre, and ballets to the delight of Luxembourgers and visitors from neighbouring countries.
 The monumental Great Renaissance Staircase, with the backdrop of the feudal castle, has become a meeting place for artists of international renown: www.festivalwiltz.lu.

September - "Night of the Lampions". : The Garden of Wiltz and its surroundings are staged by a multitude of sound and light installations and are enlivened by a series of concerts and shows: www.ndl.lu.

Bastogne War Museum

This Second World War museum focuses on the Battle of the Bulge.

The Bastogne War Museum is part of the Liberation Route Europe, an international circuit of remembrance in constant development which retraces the important stages of Europe in 1944-1945.

This unique memorial center is dedicated to the Second World War through the special history of the Battle of the Bulge. The visitor is immersed in an experience thanks to three multi-sensory shows that follow the journey of four characters at the heart of the conflict.
